What is Istanbul Photo Tour?

Galata Bridge and around (Karakoy-Eminonu) is the melting point of different people living in Istanbul. Every day, with the rising sun, awakening of the huge city can be seen perfectly in this area. Ships, fishermen, seagulls, and public starting their daily life offer great street and cityscape photos. The Hippodrome of Constantinople was a social center that sport activities and horse races were held in the capital of the Byzantine Empire. Today it is a square named Sultanahmet Meydanı (Sultan Ahmet Square) with a few original structures survived.

• One of the best photo routes of Istanbul including almost everything about this city. Byzantine & Ottoman monuments,
• streets, local markets, people, architecture photos etc.
• We will visit Patriarchate in Fener and walk through Balat region. (Balat is the old Jewish part of the city).
• Probably this will be a little bit tiring but one of the best photo walks you will have.

We will visit Galata Tower that is considered among the oldest towers in the world and one of the symbols of Istanbul. Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi) was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List in 2013. Galata Tower, is one of the most important structures that make up the silhouette of Istanbul. It was used as a long-term fire watchtower and was named Galata Fire Tower. We will have a great panoramic view of Istanbul from the top of Galata Tower, and have chance to take photos of Bosphorus area. Following that, we will walk through the most historical & popular avenue of Istanbul, Istiklal. We will see the daily life and historical buildings such as churches, old buildings, passages and finish our journey at the heart of the city.
